OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Oklahoma and Florida State captured wins on a rain-shortened Sunday at USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium to extend the preliminary round the distance.
After rain delayed action earlier on Sunday, the evening session of games was pushed back a day. The Sooners, after a 6-3 win on Sunday, will now play James Madison on Monday afternoon for a spot in the best-of-three championship series. Florida State beat Alabama 2-0 to forcing a deciding game Monday.
